Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly during busy nights at our fine dining establishment, nightclub, or banquet events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and take drink orders efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for sales processing.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during events.
• Utilize Toast POS system for order entry and payment processing.
• Uphold the highest standards of service in fine dining settings while adapting to the energetic atmosphere of fast-paced restaurants.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and retail math is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and the ability to create new drinks is a plus.
• Experience working in the food industry will be beneficial for understanding operational dynamics.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.64 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
