Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional guest service skills and a passion for culinary, and wine excellence. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding dining experience, ensuring guest satisfaction, and effectively upselling menu items.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, offering detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Toast POS.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely service and ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
- Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service and building rapport with regular patrons.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or winery setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide top-notch guest services.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn about new menu items and trends in the industry.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
