POSITION SUMMARY:
The Community Living DSP Team Lead assists with the day-to-day activities of the home programs. The Community Living DSP Team Lead is also responsible for client safety, cooking for clients, and taking clients out in the community. Team Leads are also responsible for ensuring paperwork is completed and signed correctly. The DSP Team Lead also assists upper management and Supervisors with various duties; scheduling, record keeping, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
TRAINING
Assist in completing and maintaining all required state mandated trainings and Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and BPS training as mandated.
Attends meetings and training sessions as required by DODD and BPS training as mandated.
Completes annual training sessions as required by DODD and BPS.
DAILY PROGRAMMING
Keep Upper Management and Supervisors informed of pertinent issues.
Assists Upper Management and Supervisors in implementing individual plans, (IP, Behavioral, etc.).
Works all assigned schedules, including but not limited to arriving and departing on time, requesting time off in advance and notifying Upper Management/Supervisors of changes to any and all work schedules.
Ensures each individual’s rights are protected.
Treats individuals with dignity and respect.
Ability to fill in if there are gaps in staffing when / as needed.
Upper Management / Supervisors in all areas of need and responsibility.
Adheres to company policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
18 Years of Age or Older
HS Diploma or GED
Clean Criminal Background Check
Valid Ohio’s Driver’s License with 4 points or less
Proof of Car Insurance
Ability to work holidays and during inclement weather.
At least one-year experience in the DD field preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
