Our Credit Manager is responsible for:
- Analyzing credit applications with supporting details, including financial statements and credit histories, to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
- Managing a team of 5 direct and indirect associates.
- Approving or declining credit applications based on company policies. Setting appropriate credit limits based on customer profiles and risk assessments.
- Monitoring ageing reports and following up with customers to ensure timely payments. Developing strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debt.
- Maintaining professional relationships with customers to resolve disputes and facilitate payment arrangements when necessary.
- Preparing and presenting detailed credit reports, including aging reports, risk assessments, and financial forecasts, to management regularly.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining credit policies and procedures to minimize risk while supporting company growth.
- Working closely with the sales, operations, finance, and accounting teams to ensure smooth credit operations and align with business goals.
- Ensuring that all credit practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Including escheat.

Requirements
- Conforms with the core values of BPS.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in credit management, financial analysis, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of credit management principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of ERP systems and credit management software is an advantage.
- Experience managing a team of 5 or more
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle difficult situations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background, drug, and credit checks
Salary is based on Skills and Experience

The pay range for this role is:
95,000 - 125,000 USD per year(Ohio)
