Description
The Buckeye Ranch is currently seeking an Integrated Co-Occurring Treatment Counselor/Social Worker to join our Community Based program! The Integrated Co-Occurring Treatment (ICT) Counselor/Social Worker empowers children and youth who are struggling with co-occurring (SUD and mental health) disorders and engages families to prevent out of home placement and reduce other significant risks. This position has a small caseload and provides services in the home convenient to the family. The ICT Youth Counselor/Social Worker provides intense services to our most at risk clients in the community.

What you’ll do:
- Screen clients for appropriate level of care, including assessing for psychoactive substance toxicity, intoxication, withdrawal symptoms, dangerousness to self or others, and coexisting behavioral health problems.
- Identify history of trauma, adversity and/or toxic stress that influence presenting problem(s), functioning, and family interaction styles. Determines the level of immediate and future risk of abuse or neglect to children.
- Adapt services, including evidence-based inter-professional team approaches, to the language, cultural norms, and individual preferences of healthcare consumers and family members.
- Develop collaborative relationships with providers of services tailored to the needs of culturally diverse healthcare consumers and family members.
- Develop training plans and facilitates coaching, ensuring that services are family focused.
- Actively contribute to treatment teams, departmental committees, large group supervision, and other Ranch and external working groups as assigned or appropriate.
- Use trauma-informed, focused interventions to engage clients. Educates clients, family members, and other providers about healthcare conditions, prevention, available treatments, illness and whole health self-management, peer support and recovery.

Qualifications
Who you are:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in social work, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- You have an active Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT license
- You preferably have previous work experience as a Social Worker, Counselor, Therapist, or Clinician.
- You have an active Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
