Job Summary:
BB&N is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Director to collaborate with the Drama Director/Choreographer in leading the annual 6th-grade musical production. This year’s production is Shrek Jr., and the Music Director will be responsible for teaching and preparing 60 students using the Broadway Jr. script and supporting soundtracks. This role includes planning, rehearsing, and preparing for the performance, with an emphasis on fostering students' musical growth and confidence. The ideal candidate will inspire and guide a cast of students in achieving a successful and enjoyable production experience.
Commitment/Schedule:
Start Date: January 21(audition week)
End Date: May 1 (final performance)
Rehearsal Schedule:
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8:10–9:10 AM
Wednesdays: 1:00–2:00 PM
Extra Rehearsals:
April 5
April 11
April 27-29
Break: Two weeks off in March (aligned with the school calendar).
Show Dates: April 30 and May 1
Salary : $38
