The starting salary for any hired candidate is based on experience within salary bands.

Job Summary:
BB&N is seeking a full-time Upper School History to teach four sections of Upper School history. Experience with the AP Human Geography and/or AP Macroeconomics curriculum is beneficial, but not required. We are seeking a knowledgeable History teacher who values student voice and agency, utilizes a variety of pedagogical approaches, can work independently, and is excited to work as part of a team in curriculum development.
Other faculty member responsibilities at BB&N encompass advising, as well as community, athletic/coaching, and student life activities and program needs. Candidates should be comfortable working with colleagues in designing, innovating, and delivering a curriculum that incorporates skill development, metacognition, and cultural competency and that caters to a range of student learners.
