What You’ll Do:
- Analyze and report on cost variances, inventory valuations, and product costing to support business strategy.
- Assist in month-end close processes, ensuring accurate cost allocations and financial reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Conduct standard cost updates, cost roll-ups, and margin analysis across multiple product lines.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing variances, overhead allocations, and COGS.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling related to cost and inventory.
- Assist in preparing for audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to internal controls and GAAP.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, leveraging data to enhance cost accounting efficiency.
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment with a strong sense of ownership.
