Summary
The Senior Studio Stylist will collaborate with Men’s and Women’s Merchandising, the Creative Content Art Director, and the Photo Studio Manager to style innovative fashion content concepts for Buckle.
Through creative product styling, the Teammate in this role will explore new ways of presenting Buckle merchandise and brands, accenting the quality, details, and special features through studio photography.

Studio Styling
- Communicate daily with Men’s and Women’s Buying Teams to familiarize with new product receipts, future orders, and how to incorporate upcoming trends for Guests to shop.
- Coordinate photography, art / creative direction, and merchandising with Internet Design and Marketing Teams to generate multiple purposes for fashion editorial content.
- Style product prior to ecommerce shoots and follow through with all phases of the production process.
- Assist in the management of all aspects of projects from inception to completion. Identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions.
- Demonstrate the ability to work across several projects simultaneously while delivering measurable results.
- Collaborate with the Buckle.com Creative Content Team in setting standards for product and image photography on Buckle.com that represents and appeals to our diverse product and Guest mix.
- Work with Photographers, Studio Manager, and Stylists for execution and production while communicating with the entire Team effectively and efficiently to ensure the product is shot accurately.
- Collaborate with the Buckle.com Creative Content Team in putting together the women’s supplemental photo shoot outfits to ensure key components – categories, trends, and brands are being represented.
- Provide ideas for supplemental content topics such as seasonal styling strategies to stay on top of market trends.
- Present and implement creative styling techniques with a focus on representing the uniqueness of our branded merchandise and our special product features, details, and fits.
- Work alongside the Buckle.com Creative Content Team daily to ensure the product is styled efficiently and accurately, according to established standards.
- Engage with product models to achieve precise shots that meet the design and fashion direction for each project.
- Understand deadlines and prioritize to stay on schedule and meet output goals and maintain visual standards.
General
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Teammate in this role will supervise all Teammates in the junior and mid-level studio stylist roles. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include hiring and training Teammates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Teammates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and / or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and three to five years’ experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of on-figure and off-figure styling, with an extensive background in an ecommerce photo studio setting is preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
