Summary
The Senior Brand Stylist is responsible for effectively representing our brand strategy, merchandise strategy, content strategy and styling point of view in a cohesive and consistent methodology across all brand campaign and social content expressions where our assortment is presented.
As a practitioner in the styling discipline, the Teammate in this role will partner with merchandising and other stakeholders to best represent our business and merchandising strategy including specific brands, top categories, key items, trend and outfitting stories, and broader editorial brand narratives to grow and evolve our brand and business.

Brand Styling
- Create, share, iterate, and evolve a Buckle styling point-of-view across one or more content streams that sit at the intersection of Buckle Strategy, Buckle Creative, and Buckle merchandising partners.
- Work directly with Men’s and Women’s buying teams to develop seasonal looks for campaign photo shoots.
- Perform on-set, on-location, or virtual real-time styling to reflect Buckle’s styling point of view as well as merchandising strategies and business requirements.
- Develop trend stories for curated or edited assortments or product groupings to support styling stories and other marketing or merchandising strategies.
- Perform wide-ranging research and analysis on styling trends across the consumer and competitive landscape to shape our point-of-view and continuously assess Buckle’s styling in the context of the world around us.
- Develop a styling methodology to enable social-first, creator-led content models, affiliate networks, and other communities through establishment of styling guidelines, storyboards, and other evolving parameters to ensure cohesion.
- Support corporate initiatives across the enterprise to ensure our corporate-facing styling is as cohesive and compelling as our consumer-facing brand voice with a key focus on supporting our Teammates across 440 stores and their sales initiatives.
- Teach and motivate Junior Stylists and Styling Assistants to hone their craft and pursue innovation to continuously evolve the Buckle styling point of view to compete in a changing competitive and consumer landscape.
- Partner with other marketing practices – Strategy, Digital and Operations – to deliver our best as a collective.
- Embrace iterative, agile design-thinking ways of working to increase collaboration and agility within styling discipline, across the creative studio, marketing and beyond.
- Cultivate and sustain a persistent focus on consumer relevance and the continuous evolution of Buckle styling to compel and deepen Guest relationships.
General

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises duties and responsibilities of Junior Stylists. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Teammates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Teammates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from accredited institution preferred; and five to seven years’ experience in styling, merchandising, visual or related discipline preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with fashion, lifestyle or apparel brands with complex stakeholder ecosystems and seasonality preferred.

Ability to operate a motor vehicle and complete errands based on business needs.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
