Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while ensuring that our store is well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing transactions at the cash register, assisting customers with their inquiries, and maintaining inventory levels on the sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly and attractively.
- Maintain inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Ensure that produce and other perishable items are fresh and properly maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of produce handling and quality standards is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
