Buckley Day Camp is looking for the right individual to join our staff as a seasonal Aquatics Supervisor Lifeguard/Swim Instructor from June 27th - August 22nd..
Must be both Red Cross Certified and Nassau County Certified.. Aquatics supervisor is responsible to assist the Aquatics Director with the day to day operations of the Aquatics program. He or she will help to plan and direct the swimming program to be consistent with the American Red Cross "Learn to Swim" program and the camp's philosophy and culture. The Aquatics Supervisor must be a proven and confident leader and manager, an individual with a reputation for excellence, integrity and fairness.
Aquatics staff are expected to work the entire length of of camp (Monday June 30th -- Friday, August 22nd) from 8:30 am - 4:15 pm daily. The aquatic staff is also required to attend our pre camp trainings in June (aprox 4).
Buckley Day Camp, located in Roslyn, NY, offers a traditional camp experience for tots through teens. Located on a beautiful, expansive 25-acre property with 4 outdoor swimming pools and 3 tennis courts among many other outdoor attractions and as well as a state of the art indoor, air-conditioned facility that includes 3 gymnasiums.
