Licensed Apprentice Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience in various plumbing tasks and techniques. This role involves working on construction sites and assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.

Duties

• Assist skilled plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Learn to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing layouts.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
• Help assemble plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings according to specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or leaks.
• Support the team in ensuring that all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Skills

• Basic understanding of construction plumbing principles is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing tasks.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
• A background or experience as a maintenance person or carpenter is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
