Job Opportunity : Specialty Account Manager – Rare Disease

Our client is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative therapies for patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH) and other rare diseases . By combining cutting-edge technology with established treatments, they aim to improve precision and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the assigned territory.
  • Serve as a key resource for healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cardiology, pulmonary, and rare disease specialists.
  • Navigate access, reimbursement, and distribution channels to support HCPs and patients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and share best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and ethical standards.

Qualifications :

  • 6 years of pharmaceutical sales experience , preferably in specialty or rare disease products.
  • Background in cardiology, pulmonary, or rare disease sales is highly preferred.
  • Strong relationships with HCPs in the PAH space are a plus.
  • Experience launching high-value or orphan disease products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

    San Jose, CA (frequent travel required) San Fran - East Bay to Fresno
