We seek a Utility Worker to join our community and are committed to delivering outstanding care and service to our residents. As a utility worker , you will be essential in ensuring that the surrounding areas are clean and that the equipment works as intended to meet or exceed Buckner's quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do :
- Wash dishes; scrape and rack dishes; sort, stack, and store clean dishes.
- Mop, sweep, and clean work area.
- Take out trash.
- Wrap silverware.
- Receive and store groceries, frozen foods, produce, etc.; date and rotate canned goods.
- Detect, correct, and / or report situations that could possibly cause accidents or injuries to residents or others.
- Observe and report resident symptoms, reactions, and changes.
- Comply with all Buckner policies, procedures, and requirements, as well as all federal and state laws and agency regulatory guidelines and requirements.
- Help with prep work for meal services.
- Work successfully as part of a team and responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers.
- Attend staff meetings and training as required.
- Perform other duties as requested.
