The Full-Time Special Term Contract Faculty, Fine Arts, in the School of Arts and Communication, will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging classroom instruction in lecture, and studio formats. This role involves assessing student learning, utilizing various teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, and ensuring a high-quality educational experience. The faculty member will also be responsible for coordinating studio safety requirements, managing instructional supplies, and participating in new student orientation and student advising.

The faculty member will also be responsible for coordinating studio safety requirements, managing instructional supplies, and participating in new student orientation and student advising.
Requirement
- The faculty member must be available to teach at all campuses and through all modalities (in-person, online, or hybrid).
- Plan, prepare, and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture, and studio format based on the approved course outline by selecting and utilizing a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods that address all learning modalities to ensure that the needs of individual students in the program are met.
- Assess student learning using appropriate methods.
- Conduct an engaging classroom lecture and/or lab based on the course outline.
- Motivate students by demonstrating sensitivity to concerns and actively involving students in classroom discussions and/or activities.
- Plan for equipment and supplies or other activities as needed.
- Complete all course assessments as required.
- Use technology to enhance teaching/learning in the classroom.
- Participate in student advising
- Order instructional supplies
- MFA in Studio Arts.
- Experience teaching foundation year courses, especially Drawing and 2D Design.
