Daycare Director
A leading child care provider is seeking an experienced director for a 130 student Lower Bucks County location. This location is part of the Keystone Stars program and NAEYC. Before/after hours and weekend interviews are available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Being accountable and responsible for daily operations
- Tours and enrollment.
- Creating a safe and creative learning environment.
- Maintaining a high level of family satisfaction.
- Recruit and train high performing teachers and staff.
- Oversee daily operations including corporate, licensing, health regulations, permits and related licenses.
- Work within school budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education.
- Director’s Credentials preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in early childhood education setting. Preferred to have 3 or more years experience as a Director or Assistant Director of licensed child care program.
- Experience with Keystone Stars and Pennsylvania state licensing standards.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills as well as proficiency in MS Office and social media.
- Experience working with federal food program and childcare subsidies.
- Ability to see tasks to completion.
- High comfort level promoting program and school to local businesses, agencies and surrounding community.
- Experience managing budgets, staff schedules, and ensuring maintenance of ratios.
- Experience creating, managing and implementing marketing programs, academic programs and seasonal programs.
- Must be highly energetic and be able to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Demonstrated expertise building enrollment and maintaining satisfaction for families currently enrolled.
