Irrigation Technician

Irrigation:

We are looking for an individual who has a thorough understanding of all aspects of irrigation systems including but not limited to: irrigation maintenance, trouble-shooting, repairs, and installation. We are primarily a residential service company with some commercial accounts.

· Must have 2 years experience in irrigation.

· Perform regular irrigation maintenance including: turn-on, summer audit and winterization of just under 300 accounts and growing.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation related issues and provide necessary repairs to get systems back up and running correctly.

· Maintain a high level of quality, efficiency, and customer service.

· Identify irrigation, landscape, and or turf problems and make recommendations to customers and management to remedy.

Turf Care:

Perform lawn and landscape renovation activities including, but not limited to:

· lawn aeration and seeding(familiar with lawn aeration and the equipment to perform this service. (ride on models mostly)

· underground gutter drains

· landscape plant removal and replacement

· landscape mulching

General Employment Requirements:

· Clean Drivers License

· Maintain safe working practices

· Candidate must be able to follow instructions and manage assignments with little supervision

· Willingness to work weekends as needed during busy seasons due to weather affecting workdays in the week. This helps make up lost time during the week if applicable

· Proficiently use hand tools, power tools, power equipment

· Maintain work schedules and deadlines in performing tasks

· Handle all matters in a tactful, courteous, and confidential manner to maintain and/or establish good customer relations

· Ability to work under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities and without supervision

· Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles

· Self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
• Performance bonus
