What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliance Technician position at Buddy's Appliance?
We are a family owned and operated company since 1960. We are the only service company in the area that sell and service appliances. We are factory certified.
This position requires appliance service experience and knowledge of appliance repair.

REQUIREMENTS
- Appliance repair knowledge (Refrigeration, washer, dryer, dishwasher, ovens, under counter icemakers and garbage disposals) is preferred, BUT WILL TRAIN someone with common knowledge
- Must be able to braze
- Must be familiar with sealed system components
- Valid drivers license
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work full time Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm
- Basic tools (ohm meter, screw driver etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and repair appliances
- Research technical issues/problems
- Research parts needed for your jobs
- Fill out invoices according to our rates and practices
- Repair appliances in shop
Physical Demands:
- Occasionally lift/move appliances, heavy parts
- Crouch, kneel, lay on back for extended periods of time
- Handle fragile parts (glass) and parts with sharp edges
- Driving
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
