Regional Manager Role Summary :
The Regional Manager is accountable for overseeing the operation of all stores in the assigned region. The RM directs a group of General Managers to ensure that each store operates within policies and procedures established by the company and seizes every opportunity to improve rental revenues and controls cost of operations. The overall continuing challenge of the Regional Manager is to raise interest and awareness of the factors that cause a store to be successful and secondly to ensure that this knowledge is applied to the daily operations of each store.
Recruits, selects, and trains a group of General Managers capable of accomplishing operating objectivesEstablishes a professional working environment that encourages individual commitment to achieving the company missionDirects the operations of all assigned stores through the General Manager, to meet projected performance goals set by senior managementUnderstands, enforces, and provides assistance in associate developmentMonitors performance and conduct of personnel in assigned stores, takes corrective action when neededOversees merchandise for stores to ensure inventory is properly stockedRecommends accurate annual store budgets in a timely manner, always keeping operations supplied with projection information as requested in advanceMonitors all store locations, vehicles, and equipment to ensure all are organized, clean, and maintained properly for safe operationTurns in quarterly Store Audits to include a completed serialized inventory for each storeAll other duties deemed necessary for effective region managementRequirements / Responsibilities

Any combination of education and experience providing the necessary skills and knowledge are acceptable. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to :Bachelor’s degree with course work in business, accounting, marketing or management.Five years’ experience in retail or other business emphasizing sales, customer service, account management or merchandising.General Physical Requirements
Position routinely requires lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise 50-300 poundsStooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching and grabbing as required.Prolonged driving and standingMust be able to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions.Special Instructions
