Position Summary
Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, the purchasing clerk will perform a variety of duties in support of the purchasing function. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, disciplined to work independently, possess strong communication skills, and be focused on outstanding professional customer service. There will be regular interaction with franchisees, store personnel and vendors about inventory ordering decisions and other needs relating to purchasing.
JOB EXPECTATIONS:

- Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit Purchase Orders as needed including any deviations from original PO.
- Create manual orders for vendor that are not in the Online Catalog
- Maintain reports around open purchase orders
- Assist with special projects and serves as additional resource for team support in completion of duties
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Courteous, reliable and professional
- Beginner to Intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
- Proficient customer service and problem resolution skills
- High level of organizational and time-management skills
Education and Experience
- 1 year prior experience in purchasing or customer service preferred
- Minimum of a High School Degree or Equivalent, some college or degree preferred
General Physical Requirements
The position routinely requires prolonged sitting and keyboarding
