Budenheim USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations at our Mansfield, Ohio facility. This role is responsible for overseeing lubricant production, bulk loading, shipping & receiving, spare parts fulfillment, and sample management while ensuring team leadership, employee development, and a culture of accountability and engagement. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, enforce safety compliance, optimize processes, and foster a high-performance team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
People Leadership & Team Development – Supervise, coach, and mentor a diverse production team. Drive engagement, accountability, and professional growth while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Production Planning & Execution – Develop and maintain processes, KPIs, and training programs while managing production orders in the ERP system.
Process & Quality Management – Ensure adherence to GMP, ISO standards, and housekeeping requirements. Cross-functionally collaborate with QC, materials, and HR.
Safety & Compliance – Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, process audits, and regulatory compliance.
Efficiency & Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities for equipment, facility, or procedural enhancements to improve production flow and output.
Budget & Administration – Oversee budget adherence, employee time tracking, performance management, and operational reporting.
Technical & Equipment Oversight – Manage calibration schedules, equipment manuals, and technical documentation. Act as a project lead for reliability improvements.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience – Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or engineering. 3 years of production management or supervisory experience (industrial chemistry focus preferred).
Leadership Skills – Proven ability to manage teams, drive performance, and implement process improvements. Displays excellence in operations, respect for team collaboration, integrity in decision-making, and adaptability to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
Communication & Problem-Solving – Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Technical Knowledge – Experience with ERP systems, production planning, and compliance with ISO/GMP standards.
Physical Requirements – Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, crouching, standing for extended periods, walking long distances, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
