Budget Car and Truck Rental of Utah is currently hiring for an evening Kiosk Rental Agent working 3PM-11PM or 4PM-12AM at our Salt Lake City International Airport.
As the Rental Kiosk Agent, you will be greeting customers when they return their rental car to our lot ensuring a smooth and safe traffic flow. You will walk around the vehicle and look for damage, check mileage, fuel level, and close out contracts. Earn incentives closing contracts and discovering damage done to vehicles.
Customer Service: Assist customers with rental and return processes, address inquiries, and resolve any issues that arise.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of rental vehicles, including logging vehicle returns and checking for damage or cleanliness.
Sales: Promote upgrades to a more premium car; advising customers on protection product services and additional services to enhance the customer experience.
Data Entry: Enter and update customer information, rental agreements, and other relevant data into the system accurately and efficiently.
Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise, such as customer disputes, vehicle disputes, vehicle availability, or system malfunctions.
Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations.
Communication: Coordinate with staff to ensure a smooth transition and effective handover of responsibilities

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer service, retail, hospitality, or within the car rental industry is ideal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 2 incidents/accidents in last 3 years).
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check and drug screen.
