The Building Materials “Kitchen and Bath Designer” establishes customer relationships and grows business from the inside out by assisting them with product solutions and meets sales targets.
DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Lead Designer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of the store layout, inventory, company policy, etc.
- Locate products for customers.
- Communicate low or out of stock materials to “purchasing” for replenishment.
- Preform and or assist in cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priority.
- Attend safety meetings as needed.
- Observes store areas for safety, potential theft and security risks.
- Ensure that customer expectations are communicated to “operations/Management” as necessary.

- Ensures that delivery dates are realistic and are met by Operations
- Support pricing as determined by customer type
- Assist customers and process transactions at the Contractor Sales Counter
- Product knowledge in building materials, lumber, decking, doors, windows, millwork, hardware, etc .
EDUCATION: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Industry 1 Year
- Sales 2 years
- Customer Service 3 Years
- 2020 Design 2 years preferred but not required
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Stoop, Kneel, Crouch or Crawl Periodically
- Stand and or sit for prolonged periods
- Use keyboard/computer for prolonged periods
- Lift, Carry, Push or Pull up to 50lb

- Saturday 8am-5pm
- Monday – Friday 6am-6pm
STORE HOURS:
- Saturday 8am-5pm
- Monday – Friday 7am-5pm
