Commercial Cleaning Technician (**PART-TIME~MORNING SHIFT**)

ANYONE who knows how to CLEAN can do this job! You do not need any special skills or training. We will train you on everything you need to know!

Budget Hood & Equipment Cleaning is one of the leading commercial hood cleaning companies in South Florida. We’re proud to say that we’ve been in business for over 14 years! We are currently looking to hire PART-TIME Cleaning Technicians to cover our Morning shifts.

No EXPERIENCE is required, however, previous commercial/residential cleaning, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pressure washing, or hood cleaning experience is preferred.

Shifts Available:

• MORNING SHIFT
• 6am-9am and/or 9am-12pm

Each shift is PAID PER JOB and each job lasts for about 3 hours INCLUDING travel time. Morning shifts are paid $60 per job for 3 hours (or $20 per hour) SUNDAY - THURSDAY. Again, travel time is included.

Job duties include:

• Hanging plastic sheeting, securing equipment, removing items from underneath the canopy, removing filters and some kitchen equipment
• Pre-scraping greasy buildup from affected areas of kitchen exhaust systems
• Clean and polish surfaces as needed
• Mopping up the floors
• Digital photography of all work performed at each job
• Maintaining the cleanliness of company tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Reporting any area of concern to management
• Leave the job site better than how you found it
• And other tasks as assigned

Technician must:

• Have a valid driver's license and a cell phone
• Must have a clean driving record. No accidents, DUI or traffic violations in the last 5 years
• Have personal transportation to and from our office or the job
• Must be able to travel within a 60-mile radius
• Have a professional appearance
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening, MVR and criminal background check
• Be dependable; able to show up on time, read and follow instructions
• Not afraid of heights. Capable of working on roofs and ladders
• Able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs as needed
• Physically able to kneel/stand for long periods of time
• Work in small/tight areas
• Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work quickly and efficiently
• Be able to work safely in both hot, cold, and inclement weather
• Be able to complete work projects from start to finish with limited supervision
• Be fluent in English; able to communicate well with customers and other team members
• Be able to learn new procedures quickly to assist with the cleaning process
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
