Laundry/Housekeeping

Job Summary
The Housekeeper/Laundry position is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our facility. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and laundry tasks to ensure that guest rooms and common areas are kept in pristine condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel environment and possess a strong attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

• Clean guest rooms, hallways, and common areas according to established procedures.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and laundry areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and ensure proper usage.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Skills

• Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to operate laundry machines and perform dry cleaning tasks effectively.
• Good organizational skills to manage time efficiently while completing tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and guests.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time
