What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Commercial Concrete Polisher position at Budget Maintenance Concrete?
Our large decorative/restoration concrete Company is hiring Full-Time Working concrete grinders/polishers as well as other related duties. In order to be considered for this position, you must be hardworking and able to follow instructions rapidly and proficiently.
You will learn about safety precautions and be expected to be compliant at all times. You will interact with general contractors, building owners, and their employees. You may work on different sites with different crews doing a variety of jobs, so having skills in several areas, in addition to being able to communicate with people is very important!
Activities, Responsibilities, & Specific Duties:
- Construction experience is highly preferred
- Documentation for each project; pictures, tracking reports, completion forms, etc.
- Maintain tools and equipment on all sites.
- Experience with: Grinding, polishing, coating, sealing, surface preparation, and repairs would be a plus.
Position requirements:
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 Lb.
- Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, etc. as the job requires
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be customer service oriented
- Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards.
- Willing to travel and work all shifts, weekend work is available.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass a criminal background check in accordance with local laws/regulations.
- Upon hire, all candidates will be required to complete OSHA 30 and Respirator Fit Training. All training will be completed in the first week of being hired.
- OSHA 30 and all training is paid for by the company
