What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time or Part Time Shop Tech, $15-$16/HR position at Budget Rent a Car of Kansas City?
We are looking for a shop technician to help with oil changes, tire changes, vehicle inspections, and other duties. Experience is not necessary. This is a light duty position working to service our rental vehicles as they are up for maintenance or require service. The schedule will be days, Monday - Friday. Responsibilities:
- Change tires on all types of vehicles as needed
- Pick-up supplies as needed
- Identify vehicles that are required to have oil changes based on company requirements
- Change oil and oil filter on all types of vehicle
- Help run cars as needed
- Assist with other daily Service functions as needed
- Support a team environment by assisting other departments when needed
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Able to lift at least 30 lbs. and work outside
- Basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge of vehicles
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check
