Budow and Noble, PC is seeking an associate attorney to join our team. We are a full-service litigation firm, with a focus on insurance defense. We are leaders in the industry and are well known for the results we provide to our clients. Our attorneys handle all aspects of litigation, from counseling our clients with an initial evaluation through the entry of a judgment or appeal. Our office is located in Rockville, Maryland and we practice in all courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Responsibilities
- Manage cases from inception through conclusion
- Draft pleadings and legal memoranda, opinion letters, and other correspondence
- Conduct legal research
- Represent clients and appear at depositions, hearing, trials and appeals in all Maryland and DC courts
- Client, witness and expert interaction
- Negotiate settlements
Qualifications
- Judicial clerkship or at least 2 years litigation experience preferred
- Maryland bar admission; DC bar admission or eligible to waive into DC
- Excellent verbal, written and legal research skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Detailed and organized team player, who can also work independently
