What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce Production - Full-Time position at Buehler's Fresh Foods?
PRODUCE PRODUCTION: Production Clerk working primarily in the Produce Department and responsible for the preparation of perishable and non-perishable merchandise for sale prior to and during regular store hours. This person's primary duties include driving the produce truck, making deliveries the Buehler's stores and warehouse. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned including organizing the cooler, sanitation, housekeeping, trimming, packaging, stocking, and otherwise performing the Department's early morning set-up routine.
1. Available to work anticipated work schedule: Must be available to be scheduled 35 hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
2. Previous Work Experience: Produce and Value Added experience preferred, but not required. Must be 21 yrs old and have the necessary driver qualifications.
3. Physical Demands: repetitive lifting to 50#; occasional lifting to 100#.
4. Other Work Considerations: Able to work with minimal supervision; prioritize tasks; reliable, dependable.
