What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce Production - Part-Time position at Buehler's Fresh Foods?
PRODUCE PRODUCTION: Production Clerk working primarily in the Produce backroom and responsible for the preparation of perishable and non-perishable merchandise for sale prior to and during regular store hours. This person's primary duties include meeting the truck, receiving the load, organizing the cooler, sanitation, housekeeping, trimming, packaging, stocking, and otherwise performing the Department's early morning set-up routine. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned including working the salesfloor, stocking, rotating, pricing, merchandising, building displays, and providing other customer assistance when needed.
Availability: Must be available to be scheduled between 20-30hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs ·
Previous Work Experience: Familiarity with Produce merchandise and production requirements preferred, but not required.
Physical Demands: repetitive lifting to 50#; occasional lifting to 100#.
Other Work Considerations: Able to work with minimal supervision; prioritize tasks; reliable, dependable.
