What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce Support - Seasonal position at Buehler's Fresh Foods?
PRODUCE SUPPORT: Hourly Produce Clerk working in the Produce Department. This person's primary duties include meeting the truck, receiving the load, organizing the cooler, sanitation, housekeeping, trimming, packaging, working the sales floor, stocking, rotating, pricing, merchandising, building displays, and providing other customer assistance when needed. Additional responsibilities include stocking the preparation of perishable and non-perishable merchandise for sale prior to and during regular store hours. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned including incidental prep. work, traying, wrapping, moving stock from the cooler to the salesfloor, special orders, and re-wraps.
Availability: Must be available to be scheduled between 10 hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs. Most shifts will be during early AM
Previous Work Experience: Produce experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Demands: repetitive lifting to 50#; occasional lifting to 100#.
Other Work Considerations: Able to work with minimal supervision; prioritize tasks; reliable, dependable.
