Description
The Director of Business Development and Strategic Growth is responsible for increasing company revenue by driving performance against strategic goals and identifying long-term growth opportunities. The Director of Business Development & Strategic Growth is a highly visible, entrepreneurial role and serves as the primary driver of sales and marketing strategy. This leader will leverage existing and build new networks in the community to build BVR’s reputation as a leading services provider across Arizona. In addition to being a member of the executive leadership team, this role will be accountable for and have direct reporting responsibility for the admissions, business development, and marketing teams.
Duties and Responsibilities

Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients and community partners.

Identify and develop potential growth opportunities

Understand our customers and our market, anticipating shifts, risks, and opportunities.

Work with the executive team to develop and execute revenue generating strategies.

Ensure performance, strategy, and alignment of BVR’s revenue-generating departments

Responsible for leading teams to meet clearly defined revenue targets and growth goals.

Work with marketing vendors, contractors, and team members to drive digital marketing and other top of funnel marketing activities.

Lead the business development team to meet clearly defined goals and metrics by actively managing territories, networks, and partnerships.

Lead the admissions team to meet clearly defined goals and metrics

Serve as the business development leader across the organization, providing leadership, mentoring, hiring, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Performance management for direct reports

Outlines and manages budgets for revenue generating activities.

Developing compensation strategies that incentivize the right behaviors and align with goals and company policy.

Know our customers and represent voice of customer in executive leadership decisions.

Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities, providing competitive strategies and tactics.

Review client and business activity, anticipate consumer needs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Responsible for driving client/patient experience in collaboration with facility leadership, including defining data metrics and process improvement.

Responsible for ensuring the Alumni program is active and engaging patients in their recovery.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Skills Required
-
7 years' experience in a Business Development position where at least 5 were spent in a leadership role
-
4 years’ experience working in industry role from both operational and sales perspective

Experience hiring, coaching, leading, and developing teams

In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques

Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market

Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
-
Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
Educational Requirements

High School or Equivalent
