What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Tech Retail position at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center?
Work as a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) at BVRMC Retail Pharmacy. Works closely with a small team of pharmacists and technicians to provide superior pharmacy services to BVRMC, its employees, and the community. Duties include data entry, insurance billing, filling of prescriptions, checking out orders, inventory management, and medication delivery within the hospital and community. Become part of a strong staff to continue the growth of our pharmacy business. Should be outgoing, efficient, friendly, and eager to learn. Spanish speaker is a plus, but not required. Applicants will need to be certified with a national board and registered with the state of Iowa.
