Houseman/Driver

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Houseperson/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate for this dual role will have experience in hospitality, custodial services, or housekeeping management as well as the ability to drive a shuttle & assist guest with luggage.

As a Houseperson/Driver, you will play a crucial role both in maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests, as well as assisting them to & from the airport in a safe timely manner.

Work Performed:

Clean & tidy all public spaces in the establishment according to set standards. Perform general housekeeping duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and laundry. Notify management of any damages or repairs needed - Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and toiletries

Safely operate shuttle vehicles, such as vans, limousines, motor coaches, and paratransit vehicles. Transport passengers to and from designated locations, following predetermined routes and schedules. Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle, ensuring a comfortable environment for passengers. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its proper functioning. Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets ; and

Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position .

Job Requirements

Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies - Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery - Knowledge of floor care techniques including waxing and polishing - Experience with industrial cleaning equipment is a plus Join our team as a Housekeeper and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Skills:

- Commercial driving experience, preferably as a van driver or school bus driver

- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record

- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

- Familiarity with shuttle driving procedures and protocols

- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or other navigation tools

- Knowledge of motor coach operations is a plus

- Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner

Physical:

Able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift

Pay Disclaimer:

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the pay range. Actual compensation will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and performance to name a few. The rate listed is just one component of the total compensation package for associates.
