Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach subjects such as Geometry, Creative Writing, Physical Education, and other relevant courses.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Provide mentorship and tutoring support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals.
- Collaborate with fellow educators in curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a nurturing environment that supports childhood development and encourages student participation.
- Incorporate Montessori principles where applicable to enhance the learning experience.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in Geometry, Creative Writing, and Physical Education.
- Experience in mentoring students and managing classroom behavior effectively.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes and educational best practices.
- Ability to calculate and analyze student performance data for informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
