Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach subjects such as Literacy education, Math, and Journalism to enhance student understanding and skills.
- Provide individualized tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with fellow educators in curriculum development and sharing best practices.
- Facilitate library services to encourage reading and research among students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; higher education teaching experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Literacy education, Math, and behavioral management techniques.
- Experience in tutoring or mentoring students is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in copy editing and lesson planning is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
