Buffalo Biodiesel is in growth mode and currently seeking a Junior Contract Enforcement Attorney to join our fast-growing team. Recent law school graduates who have passed the New York Bar Exam are encouraged to apply. You will have the opportunity to be mentored by a former Supreme Court Justice and State Senator!
Responsibilities
- Contract enforcement
- Make Telephone calls to settle apposing contract breaches
- File summons and complaints
- Draft settlements and default judgments
- Occasionally appear in court
- Move complex matters to Senior Counsel
Qualifications
- Permitted to practice law in New York State
- Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience, specifically handling breach of contract matters
- Fluent understanding of electronic filing via NYSCEF
This is role requires onsite work from 8:00am - 5:00pm. Our offices are located at 17 Court Street, Buffalo, NY.
