Duties
- Greet guests promptly and with a friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Cash out tickets.
- Uphold high standards of guest service and hospitality throughout each shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Cash Handling Skills.
