Job Description
As a Registered Nurse at Buffalo Center, you will provide exceptional care to our residents by monitoring their health, administering medication, and documenting resident care services. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to resolve resident problems and needs.
- Provide advice and support to residents and their families.
- Monitor residents and administer medication and treatments.
- Document resident care services by charting in resident and department records.
- Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Resolve resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
- Assure quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care.
- Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team environment, and possess a current New York State RN license. Long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
