Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Resource and Field Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our field teams and ensure efficient utilization of resources on construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing teams, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resource Management:
- Develop and implement resource allocation plans for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Manage the scheduling and deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize project efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Ensure the availability of necessary resources at project sites while managing inventory and procurement needs.
- Oversee the hiring and training of field staff to ensure a highly skilled and efficient workforce.
- Field Operations Management:
- Lead and coordinate field operations, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor field performance, providing guidance and leadership to site supervisors and construction teams.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges that arise during project execution.
- Project Coordination & Communication:
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure smooth communication and coordination between the office and field teams.
- Act as a liaison between the construction site and upper management, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and resource needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team collaboration and resolve conflicts promptly.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all field operations are conducted in accordance with company safety policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Conduct safety training for staff and monitor compliance with all safety protocols on site.
- Lead efforts to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Budget & Cost Management:
- Assist in managing the project budgets related to field operations, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and within budget.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in construction operations, resource management, or field operations management.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in the construction industry.
- Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
Working Conditions:
- Regular travel to construction sites is required.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments.
- Occasional long hours or weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
