- Foster a Positive School Culture: Work with school leadership and staff to promote an environment where students feel safe, respected, and valued.
- Support Student Engagement: Develop and implement programs to engage students in positive behaviors, including mentorship initiatives and school-wide events.
- Collaborate with Faculty and Staff: Partner with teachers and school leadership to build strong relationships with students and reinforce academic and behavioral expectations.
- Behavioral Support: Assist in the development and enforcement of school-wide behavior expectations, addressing behavioral challenges and providing restorative practices when necessary.
- Data and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to student behavior, engagement, and overall school culture to report progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate School-Wide Initiatives: Organize and coordinate initiatives that promote school spirit, such as assemblies, volunteer opportunities, or extracurricular activities.
- Support Character Development: Lead or assist with character-building programs that align with the school’s LIFE values, supporting both academic and personal growth of students.
- Additional Responsibilities: As assigned by the Head of School, including ad-hoc tasks to maintain a thriving school culture.
- All previous functions must be performed in accordance with professional standards, state regulations, and district policies.
- Bachelor’s degree required (related field such as Education, Social Work, or Psychology preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- At least one year of experience in a school or community-based setting (preferred, but not required).
- Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire students and adults in both formal and informal settings
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills: Demonstrated ability to handle complex student dynamics with patience and creativity.
- Experience in student engagement or behavioral support (educational background or related work in youth development, social work, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
