What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geotechnical Driller position at BUFFALO DRILLING CO., Inc?
Buffalo Drilling Company, Inc. is a full service, specialty drilling and engineering contractor serving construction and Engineering companies in Upstate New York, Northern Pennsylvania, and the New England area who need geotechnical, environmental, and/or construction drilling work performed as part of their overall project.
We are seeking a Geotechnical Driller with experience in Test Bores. Project locations will mostly be local, but some travel may be necessary. There will also be prevailing wage opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 1 to 3 years of Geotechnical Drilling and subsurface investigation experience.
· Class A CDL License preferred, but not required.
Job Duties:
· Mobilize drilling equipment to job sites and operate drilling equipment.
· Retrieve/recover soil and rock samples from job locations.
· Shop/Yard duties under direction of shop supervisor.
· Communicate about job site conditions with company Engineers/Geologists on staff.

**Starting pay of experienced Geotechnical Driller w/o a Class A CDL License is $25.00/hour
