Manufacturing Machine Operator, 2nd Shift
Pay: $17.25-20.00/hr 10% shift differential
Reports to: Production Supervisor

Buffalo Games, the #1 supplier of jigsaw puzzles in North America, is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator for our 2nd shift. The Manufacturing Machine Operator is responsible for operating various types of production equipment, maintaining productivity, and accurately checking quality. The Manufacturing Machine Operator will following pre-established procedures and guidelines from start to finish. This position will work a four-day work week – Monday through Thursday – from 4 PM to 2:30 AM at our Buffalo, NY location.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform work in a safe manner following all company rules and procedures.
- Operate machines used in the production process.
- Load and unload material from machines and conveyors.
- Understand basic quality standards and has ability to inspect for specific quality attributes.
- Attentive to detail and able to seek clarification when quality requirements are uncertain.
- Attentively report machine breakdown, damages, and excessive wear to production equipment.
- Perform routine housekeeping.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- High School diploma or HSE
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience required
- Possess mechanical aptitude for production equipment
- Mathematical aptitude
- Ability to use troubleshooting skills
- Posses basic computer and data entry skills
- Familiarity with common tools
- Ability to learn and use basic measuring devices such as calipers, rulers and scales
- Ability to write and record information legibly
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 4 hours
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 30lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.25 - $22.00 per hour
