Dance Camp Counselor 2025:
The Dance Camp Counselor is a seasonal position that will be working with campers that range from 5 to 13 years of age. The counselor must be enthusiastic, caring, and committed to providing an outstanding experience for the campers. They will be responsible for leading daily activities, maintaining good communication with parents and campers, supervision and leadership of their camp group and planning camp activities.
Dance camp counselors must be proficient in at least two styles of dance, including ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz, poms and hip-hop.
*Please note, Dance Camp applicants will not be contacted for interviews until mid January, 2025
Qualifications:
The Dance Camp Counselor position is open to all qualified applicants 16 years of age (as of June 9, 2025) and older. Some 15 year olds may be considered, depending on qualifications. Previous dance experience is required. Must feel comfortable leading group activities with children grades 1-8.
Hours:
The program runs approximately 9:15 am – 3:15 pm Monday - Friday, from June 16th – August 1st, 2025.
Camp training is mandatory and will begin as early as June 9, 2025.
Salary:
$15 per hour depending on experience
