Position Overview:
As the Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Care Management Department. You will lead a team of care managers, ensuring that they provide personalized and effective care coordination to our clients. Your role will involve managing resources, implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. You will also collaborate with other departments and external partners to enhance service delivery and achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Care Management Department, providing guidance and support to care managers and other team members.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of care management staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with other departments and external partners to coordinate care and improve client outcomes.
- Analyze data and generate reports to track departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as a point of contact for escalated client concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in care management and healthcare services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, nursing, social work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in care management or a related healthcare field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, care coordination, and case management practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using care management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $66,500.00 per year
