Responsibilities
- Perform fertilization treatments on turf using approved spray equipment
- Properly mix and apply products using various types of application equipment
- Handle and use sprays in accordance with the requirements of the law and regulations
- Perform efficient routes individually
- Maintain and care for company equipment & vehicle
- Record completed jobs through photos and notes in mobile app
- Exemplify safe performance of job duties and adherence to safety policies & procedures
- Ensure work areas are left clean at the end of each shift or assigned task
Skills & Abilities
- 1 - 2 years experience is preferred but not required (we will provide hands-on training, regular coaching & guidance)
- Knowledge of utilizing electronic software through a mobile app in order to access daily route
- Ability to plan out stops and traffic in order to complete route in a timely manner
- Ability to identify potential problems on the job in order to prevent accidents or errors
- Effective communications skills - both verbal & written: Works well with team members
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of specialized equipment
- Ability to reach overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must possess valid Drivers License
- TDA Commercial Applicator License is strongly desired
