Reports To : Sales Manager & Owners

Job Summary :

We are seeking an organized, driven, and adaptable Salesperson to join our growing team. In this role, you will sell safety products, corporate apparel, workwear, and promotional products to businesses, with a primary focus on the construction and related industries. Your primary responsibility will be new customer acquisition, supported by warm leads through our new partnership with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Mississippi.

If you have ever worked, or know someone who has worked in this industry, you understand how challenging it is to sell. Every business is a potential customer, but all of our competitors offer the same products at a similar price. We have created a competitive advantage we believe will give our company the ability to grow at a rapid pace. In turn, your sales have the potential to grow at a rapid pace. However, many customers will not meet the requirements needed to receive our exclusive benefits. This means you will have to fight for new customers and execute to keep them.

You will be expected to cold call, set appointments, and close deals constantly. If you are willing to dedicate the time and give the effort (that most are not willing to give), you will reap the rewards.

Key Responsibilities :

New Customer Acquisition :

  • Identify and develop relationships with businesses in the Memphis, TN and surrounding areas, focusing on the construction industry.
  • Generate new leads and leverage warm leads provided through the ABC partnership.

Client Relationship Management :

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Work closely with the home office in Collierville, TN, to ensure seamless sourcing, quoting, form preparation, and art creation.
  • Sales Presentations and Negotiations :

  • Present product offerings to potential clients, demonstrating how our solutions meet their needs.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales to exceed revenue targets.
  • Order Management and Follow-Up :

  • Ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery in collaboration with the home office team.
  • Follow up with clients to confirm satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Market Research and Adaptability :

  • Stay updated on industry trends, client needs, and market changes.
  • Adapt to evolving processes and strategies in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Performance Expectations :

  • Achieve a sales goal of $500,000 in the first year.
  • Qualifications :

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in B2B environments.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet sales targets.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and basic office software.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry or promotional products is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote support team.
  • Compensation :

  • Base salary : $50,000 - $70,000 subject to sales experience.
  • Commission opportunities beginning after achieving $500,000 in sales.
  • 90 day probationary period.
