Description
Position Purpose:
Accurately balance the hotel’s operating transactions and prepare financial reports on a daily basis and to provide exceptional guest service and staff by coordinating with other departments when necessary to maintain established standards and meet the high expectations of our guests. Provide a courteous and efficient hospitality experience to guests.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Check guests in and out and make future reservations as needed.
- Post and rebate, room tax, and other miscellaneous charges to guest accounts.
- Administer guest payment policy.
- Ensure all cash, credit cards, and change funds are balance throughout the shift.

- Be knowledgeable of all promotional rates.
- Maintain daily inventory of available rooms.
- Maintain hotel key security system and safety deposit boxes.
- Process credit card transactions and finalize transactions completed during the day.
- Create and print required reports.
- Prepare folio for departing guests.
- Process guaranteed no show reservations.
- Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
- Respond to telephone calls for reservations, transfer calls and take messages for guests and hotel staff.
- Open and close shifts; make accurate cash drops.
- Ensure that all credit cards, cash, and change funds are balanced throughout the night.
- Notify the general manager of all needed repairs and maintenance issues for concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk areas.
- Participate as a team member with other employees in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of customer service.
- Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed policies and practices.

Requirements
Education/Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior customer service preferred.
- One year of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
Licensing:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License
Work Requirements:
Shift: Part-Time
Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
