Summary of Duties:
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, guests, and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards.
Position Purpose:
To ensure that all gaming machines are in good working order for optimal play.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Maintain all gaming machines in good working order.
- Troubleshoot problems and repair, machines when needed.
- Maintain good working relationships with vendors.
- Place service calls to vendor when efforts to repair have been exhausted or parts are needed to repair machines.
- Assist with maintaining current and accurate records of games.
- Work with vendors to maintain part inventory.
- Communicate all repetitive machine issues to the Casino Operations Shift Manager(s).
- Assist with install and removal of gaming machines.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all Departmental, PTGC, and NIGC requirements.
- Responsible for the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the casino’s slot machines.
- Stay informed about all gaming rules, special events, promotional items and awards within the casino.
- Establish and maintain satisfactory guest relations with all internal and external guests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education/Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least 1 year of prior experience.
- Electrical wiring training or experience required.
- Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing IGT Advantage, hardware, and Class2 & Class 3 gaming machines.
Licensing:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
Work Requirements:
Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
